Hello Folks—In the past two days there has been a significant change in the FMCSA ELD regulation. The ELD Extension Act of 2017 was filed on July 18, 2017, in the U.S. House of Representatives, by Representative Brian Babin, and it appears to have a lot of support.

New York Chiropractors No Longer Permitted To Do Commercial Drivers Physical Examinations
Chiropractors in New York State are no longer allowed to perform Department of Transportation physicals.
The FMCSA informed the practitioners via letter that effective of the date of the letter, they would no longer be allowed to perform DOT physicals. The FMCSA notified them that their information would be publically available on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners for three years, however, they are no longer Certified Medical Examiners.
Medical Certificates completed by New York State Chiropractors on or after June 2, 2016 will not be accepted and returned...
